Scope of the Report of Floor Conveyor System A floor conveyor is a mechanical system that moves items around a structure. Floor conveyors, unlike standard conveyor systems, are installed at ground level. They can be incorporated into the floor with the operating mechanism hidden beneath it, or they can just sit on top of it. These units are used to convey goods during assembly or as part of the storage and shipping process in a variety of manufacturing and industrial facilities. Depending on the use, companies can choose from a variety of floor conveyor designs. The manual conveyor is the most basic and least expensive, consisting of a metal or rubber belt positioned on a succession of rollers. Workers can set things on this belt at ground level, then manually push it along the conveyor’s length before removing it and transporting it for transportation or further processing. An automated belt, similar to those seen on a typical assembly line, is included in some floor conveyor models. These belts simply transfer objects from one point to another on the floor without the use of manual force.
